YouthHack Philly is a chapter of
the international nonprofit organization YouthHack

Why YouthHack Philly?

We started YouthHack Philly with the goal of helping student founders build real startup companies while still in school. We saw the need for a program that would bridge the gap between having an idea and building a startup.

How do we do this? We have two main programs: The YouthHack FreshStart program for underclassmen who want to learn more about startups and the YouthHack Ventures program, our venture accelerator and venture builder program for students who want to gain real-world startup experience building real startups.

In the works as well is the YouthHack Philly Startup House we're launching in 2017 with the goal of bringing Silicon Valley to the East Coast.

"At the YouthHack Accelerator, our team got the chance to meet with many amazing entrepreneurs and investors, who all gave ChanceU valuable advice. We also learned that business skills are just as important as our technical competency."

- Summer Yue, ChanceU Co-Founder
